TRAVEL - The day before the course start date and the day after the course end date are designated travel days.

ARRIVAL - The Oklahoma Regional Training Institute is located at 6500 N Kelley Ave in Oklahoma City. Students arriving by air should arrange to fly into Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. There is no military shuttle providing transportation to the OKRTI, you must make your own arrangements to get here. The OKRTI has a manned security gate and you must have a valid Military ID Card to gain entrance.

REPORT TIME AND LOCATION - Report to the OKRTI Education Center NLT 0800 on Monday of the first day of class. You will receive guidance on the exact classroom to report to. Plan on being in class until 1700 each day.

UNIFORM - Service Members will report in the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). Military service members are expected to be in uniform each training day. This is an OKRTI policy and your classroom instructors are not authorized to reverse it. Civilians attending this training should wear seasonably-appropriate conservative civilian attire. All students should bring seasonally-appropriate civilian clothing for off-duty wear.

INPROCESSING - Carry at all times a copy of your orders authorizing you to be here while attending training. The OKRTI does not conduct a formal inprocessing for these courses.

MEALS - Your orders should state that Meals are NOT available, you are required to subsist on the local economy.

HOUSING - The OKRTI has on-post billeting and there are also hotels located nearby. See the Billeting page for details.

COMPUTER ACCESS - Students bringing laptops with wireless capability can access a commercial internet connection in the Education Center. Our billeting rooms also have commercial internet connectivity. Students are not authorized to plug into the military network here. The military network is monitored and if your laptop is detected we will interrupt your class to ask you to disconnect.

RETURN TRAVEL - Do not schedule your return flight, rental car turn-in, etc. before 1700 on the last day of class.
